Bridging Traditions

As the MC for the Tea Ceremony, my role is to guide the ceremony with respect, clarity, and warmth, ensuring traditions are honoured while the flow remains smooth and meaningful for both families and guests.

My responsibilities include:

• Welcoming both families and guests and explaining the significance of the Tea Ceremony

• Guiding the bride and groom through each step of the ceremony in the correct order

• Introducing parents, elders, and family members as they are invited to receive tea

• Cueing key moments such as tea offering, gift exchange, blessings, and family photos

• Coordinating smoothly with photographers, videographers, and the tea ceremony team

• Managing timing and transitions to ensure the ceremony runs calmly and respectfully

• Providing bilingual hosting (English/Vietnamese), if required, for clear communication
